Most Fifties in IPL History: Players with the Most and Consecutive Half-Centuries

Virat Kohli claimed the record for the most fifties in IPL with 63 half-centuries, in 259 innings making him the top scorer in this list. The batting Strike Rate of Kohli is 132.86. 

Kohli has scored 8661 runs at an average of 39.54.  After him, David Warner, who has 62 fifties in 184 innings.  The batting strike rate of the left-handed player is 139.77. 

Shikhar Dhawan is the 3rd player in the list of scoring the most half-centuries in IPL with 51 in his name. Dhawan registered 6769 runs in 221 innings. He maintains a strike rate of 127.14. 

After Dhawan, Rohit Sharma’s name comes in the list. The right-handed batter Rohit Sharma has scored 45 half-centuries in 262 innings. Rohit achieved 6844 runs with a strike rate of 131.46 in IPL. 

In the race for the most fifties in IPL history, AB De Villiers ranked 5th with 40 fifties in 137 innings, securing 5162 runs with 21.87 average. The strike rate of AB De Villiers is 151.69. 

While KL Rahul has made 40 fifties in 137 innings. Rahul has scored 5529  runs in IPL with a 136.10 strike rate. He achieved the 6th position in scoring the most fifties in IPL. 

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina has made 39 fifties in 200 innings. Raina has scored 5528 runs in IPL with a 136.73 strike rate.  He is the 7th player in the list of scoring the most fifties in IPL history. 

Faf du Plessis has registered 39 fifties in 147 innings of IPL. He scored runs with a strike rate of 135.29. He is the 8th cricketer in the list of getting the most half-centuries.
