Rajasthan Royals look to avenge league stage losses
Rajasthan Royals won their last two league stage games to finish fourth in the points table. The Royals overcame three successive defeats in the second half of the season to secure the last playoff spot ahead of PBKS.
In their last game, Riyan Parag's side scored 205 runs against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. Jofra Archer made the headlines for his performances with both bat and ball, but it was another collective team effort from the 2008 champions.
Ravindra Jadeja and Riyan Parag are nursing minor injuries ahead of the Eliminator clash, but are expected to play regardless of their fitness status.
Sunrisers Hyderabad eye Qualifier 2 spot
Sunrisers Hyderabad finished the league stage with 18 points, on level with the top two sides, RCB and GT, but their net run rate denied them a Qualifier 1 berth.
SRH have been brilliant in the second half of the season and wrapped their group stage campaign with a dominant win over RCB. Pat Cummins' side posted 255 batting first and then restricted RCB to 200.
A big win just before the playoffs significantly boosts Hyderabad's morale and confidence against RR.
