Royal Challengers Bengaluru created history by posting 250 against Chennai Super Kings in the 11th match of IPL 2026 on Sunday, April 5. RCB registered the biggest total of the season and notched several other milestones during their carnage against CSK at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
After losing the toss, RCB were invited to bat first in their second game of the season. CSK's decision to bowl first seemed a correct call early in the game as Khaleel Ahmed kept RCB openers Virat Kohli and Phil Salt quiet in the first three overs.
Kohli then took charge in the fourth over by smashing 14 runs off Matt Henry, and then the records followed throughout the RCB vs CSK game.
