He delivered the best performance of his IPL career against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 22 April 2025, at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. He claimed four crucial wickets for just 33 runs in his 4-over quota, including those of big names like Mitchell Marsh, Rishabh Pant, Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni with a lethal bowling spell. LSG was restricted to a total of 159/6 due to his breakthrough spells, and for this match-winning performance, he was also awarded the 'Player of the Match' title.

DC vs GT, 2024

Mukesh impressed everyone by delivering a lethal spell of 3/14 in just 2.3 overs against the Gujarat Titans on 17 April 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This performance not only broke the back of Gujarat's batting lineup, such as Wriddhiman Saha (bowled), Rashid Khan (caught behind), and finally Noor Ahmad (bowled), but also further cemented his reputation as a reliable wicket-taking bowler during the middle and death overs.
