Oman Make Bright Start Before India A Pull Back Control
Oman put up 135 for seven in their twenty overs after choosing to bat. They began with confidence as Hammad Mirza played a lively knock of 32 from just 16 balls. His clean hitting pushed the score forward early and set a solid base.
The innings then moved into a more measured phase. Wasim Ali took charge in the middle overs and worked his way to an important 54 off 45 balls. He kept Oman afloat when wickets fell around him and ensured the total had some weight behind it.
India A bowlers however tightened the screws as the innings progressed. Suyash Sharma was outstanding with a spell of two for 12 that slowed the scoring. Gurjapneet Singh and Naman Dhir chipped in with timely wickets and prevented Oman from finishing strongly. From 93 for two they could only add 42 runs in the final seven overs.
Dubey Anchors Chase As India A Complete Smooth Win
India A began their chase with quick boundaries but also lost two early wickets. The pressure eased once Naman Dhir found his rhythm and struck a fluent 30 from 19 balls. His clean strokes lifted the run rate and brought balance back to the innings.
Harsh Dubey then took complete control. His unbeaten 53 from 44 balls was calm and methodical. He picked gaps, rotated the strike and punished loose balls. Nehal Wadhera supported him with a steady 23 as the partnership carried India A close to victory. Skipper Jitesh Sharma finished the match with a boundary to seal the six wicket win.
