India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to bowl against Australia in the opening Women’s T20 International on Sunday.

The start was pushed back by 15 minutes due to a brief spell of drizzle.
India have retained the same playing XI from their warm-up fixture, showing faith in the combination. Australia, however, made notable changes, leaving out vice-captain Tahlia McGrath and experienced pacer Megan Schutt for the series opener.
