NEW DELHI: Yashasvi Jaiswal was undone by a bouncing delivery while poor shot selection from Sai Sudharsan and Dhruv Jurel left India reeling at 102 for 4 against South Africa at tea on the third day of the second Test her on Monday.
India had been cruising at 95 for 1 but a mix of unexpected bounce and ill-advised shots saw them lose three wickets for just seven runs in the first session.

Jaiswal shines but falls to bounce
Jaiswal scored a stroke-filled 58 off 97 balls before a delivery from Simon Harmer rose sharply catching him off guard. The southpaw tried to check his drive only to edge it to Marco Jansen who completed a tumbling catch.
KL Rahul made 22 and looked solid during the opening stand of 65 with Jaiswal as the pair was largely untroubled by the South African bowlers.
But two deliveries one each from Keshav Maharaj and Harmer completely changed the course of the morning session.
The pitch offered little assistance and Jaiswal's fluent stroke-play proved it as he repeatedly swept Harmer from length and lifted Maharaj over cow corner for a six. Rahul looked composed at the other end driving elegantly through the covers but Maharaj drew him forward with a ball that jumped from length resulting in an edge to Aiden Markram at first slip.
Sudharsan and Jurel falter
Sai Sudharsan struggled against spin again falling to a back-foot pull against Harmer that lacked elevation allowing Ryan Rickleton to take a diving catch at mid-wicket.
Dhruv Jurel made no runs and compounded India’s woes just before tea with a mistimed pull against Jansen that offered an easy catch to Maharaj leaving the dressing room frustrated.
India are now under pressure at 102 for 4 with the top order undone by a mix of bounce spin and poor shot selection.
