WWE recently brought back Aleister Black and also repackaged him with a new character. Just a number of weeks ago on SmackDown, he defeated Damian Priest in a Last Man Standing match despite getting dominated throughout the match. Black's wife Zelina Vega interfered at the end of the match and assisted her husband to this huge victory.
In the very next week of SmackDown, Aleister Black made an entrance along with his wife Zelina Vega. They maintained a dark character, but the fans complained that the character was stolen from Karrion Kross and Scarlett, and without any doubt, both gimmicks had similarities. Black and Vega keep on playing this character despite criticism.
Karrion Kross responded to the criticism of Aleister Black
The fans were waiting to see the response of Karrion Kross on this matter, and the former two times NXT Champion finally opened up about this allegation on Black. Kross recently spoke with wrestling legend Konnan on his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, where he was asked about this application, and he responded by saying the following;

“I try to keep it classy and not jump into the divisive subjects. I can’t tell people how to feel about what they’re seeing and what they want to say. If you’re not tone deaf and you’re paying attention to everyone in the world, people are f**** tired of being told how to feel about what they see and hear.
"I don’t want to be that guy to tell people how they should feel about what they’re watching. I’m sick of it. I stopped watching a lot of opinion shows because I have a brain and I can think and see. I don’t want to be told what to think and see. So, I won’t do that because I’d be a hypocrite.”
Kross was released from WWE on August 10
“This is what I will say: Scarlett and I are very flattered that we are still a subject of conversation online and among wrestling fans. We’re not in the biggest show on the planet. So, when this stuff comes up, we’re flattered. We’re flattered to still be in the conversations. You never really know if that’s the performers doing that or if that is something they are being asked to do. I can’t throw shade.” said Kross.
Karrion Kross became quite over with the fans before getting released from WWE in August. A large number of fans did not like the fact that he was released from WWE. Aleister Black was brought back soon after his releas,e and when he started playing a similar character, the fans did not like the fact at all. It will be interesting to see how far Black can go with this character.
