Aleister Black recently made his return to WWE after remaining out of the promotion for four long years. He was doing quite go to in WWE back in 2021, but he became a victim of the covid-19 pandemic budget cut, when WWE released a lot of stars. Black was also released from the promotion during that time, and he went to AEW after his WWE release.
Recently, Aleister Black made his return to WWE, and one of the earliest feuds he is doing is against the former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, and recently they had a brutal Last Man Standing match in an episode of SmackDown. Priest dominated the most part of the match, but ultimately, Black pulled out a victory.
Aleister Black comments on teaming with Zelina Vega
Black's real life wife, Zelina Vega, became a part of the match at the end, who assisted her husband to pick up this victory. Black recently talked about this pairing and explained how he felt about it when Triple H pitched the idea. Speaking on “The Takedown” podcast, the former NXT Champion explained the following;

“When I got back, the conversation arose again and initially [Triple H] was not really into it. But I think that with the success of AJ and CM Punk, and Seth and Becky, I think that he kinda went like, you know what, this might actually really, really work.”
“He was completely sold on it and he really liked it. And then it kind of started building from there [during] those last two, three weeks. Where we’re now looking at the presentation that you saw last week, and slowly but surely we’re adding elements. This is a work in progress.”
They are working together right now
“We didn’t have a lot of time to prepare for this. I hope this leads into some intergender tag matches, because we’ve been working in a laboratory on some unique stuff. I’m expecting a lot of really cool stuff from this and it’s a completely different dimension for myself and my wife.”
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega have been seen working together eversense this match and their doing guite a good job. But the character they are playing together looks quite similar to the characters of Karrion Kross and Scarlett. The fans have already started to complain about the lack of creativity behind this gimmick. Hopefully they do good while portraying this character.
