Fans are hoping for a positive update on Hardik Pandya and Will Jacks, who missed Mumbai's previous game against the Delhi Capitals due to different reasons.

The five-time champions kicked off their IPL 2026 campaign at Wankhede, beating Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets. However, without Hardik Pandya leading the team against Delhi, the team failed to defend 162 runs. Mumbai's mixed start to the season has led fans asking fans an update on Will Jacks' availability ahead of their next match against the Royals.

Will Jacks and Mitchell Santner had asked for an extended leave after a lengthy 2026 T20 World Cup campaign in India. No. Will Jacks is yet to arrive in India for the IPL 2026, and is not part of Mumbai Indians' squad for their third game of the season against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, April 7.

However, reports suggest that the versatile cricketer is set to join MI's camp this week, most likely on April 8, and might make the team for their blockbuster clash against the defending champions, RCB, at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 12.

In more good news for Mumbai Indians fans, their captain Hardik Pandya, who missed the last game due to illness, is all set to play today's IPL game against the Rajasthan Royals. Hardik is likely to replace overseas all-rounder Corbin Bosch in MI's playing eleven against RR.
