A similar trend was seen in GT’s previous encounter against RCB. In that game, Prasidh struggled to contain the batters and conceded heavily during a high-pressure game, failing to pick up a wicket while leaking 31 runs in two overs.

Meanwhile, his replacement in the previous clash against Chennai Super Kings, Arshad Khan, delivered a solid performance. The left-arm pacer picked up two crucial wickets in his four overs, conceding 43 runs.

Given that impact, Gujarat Titans are likely to stick with the same combination, which means Prasidh Krishna could once again miss out on the playing XI.

GT are currently placed fifth on the points table with four wins in eight games. As the race for the top four intensifies, they will be aiming to find the right balance and consistency to stay in contention.

In their previous clash against RCB, Gujarat posted a competitive total of 205 runs, courtesy of Sai Sudharsan’s brilliant century. However, the bowling unit failed to defend the target as RCB chased it down with seven balls to spare.
