NEW DELHI: England captain Harry Brook won the toss and chose to bat against Nepal in their opening T20 World Cup match on Sunday.
Brook felt the pitch would be at its best during the first innings and said England were comfortable bowling second.

“There’s a little bit of spin and some bounce in it. We wanted two out-and-out pacers with the new ball. You can’t take anything for granted. It’s about staying in the moment and adapting to the situation,” Brook said at the toss.
Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel said he would have preferred to bowl had the toss gone his way.
“Looking at the conditions, chasing seems the better option. It’s a used wicket and if it turns, it could help us in the second innings,” he said.
