Sai Sudharsan has become a run machine for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League, and another special milestone followed during their clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On a tricky surface at Narendra Modi Stadium, the 24-year-old once again stood tall, rescuing Gujarat Titans with a composed knock that ensured the side reached a respectable total. Sudharsan struck 61 runs in 44 balls including, five fours and two sixes in his innings and continued his superb run in IPL 2026.

The left-hander also rose to the top in Orange Cap race and in the process crossed the 500-run mark for yet another season, adding another major record to his name.

With this, Sudharsan has now joined an elite list featuring Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and Shikhar Dhawan for the most consecutive IPL seasons with 500-plus runs.

Sudharsan has been making headlines consistently over the last few seasons with his remarkable batting maturity. Opening the innings, he has shown the rare ability to stay calm under pressure, rotate strike and shift gears when required.
