Gujarat Titans Preview
After losing their opening two matches this season, Gujarat Titans made a strong comeback by winning three consecutive matches. However, they suffered a huge 99-run defeat against Mumbai Indians to slip to the 7th place in the points table.
Chasing a 200-run target against Mumbai's all-new bowling attack in Ahmedabad, Gujarat's innings collapsed on 100 in 15.5 overs. The middle order's struggles were exposed. Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewataia are out of form and are looking miserable when it comes to finishing the matches.
Kagiso Rabada's form and Shubman Gill's consistency with the bat are the only positives for the 2022 IPL champions. They will target two points against RCB, having defeated them twice at Chinnaswamy in the past.
RCB Preview
Royal Challengers Bengaluru are looking to defend their title and are off to a great start in 2026. They are placed third in the points table with four wins and two defeats in six matches so far.
RCB won their opening two games and lost the third; they repeated the same pattern in their last match with two big wins followed by a loss against Delhi Capitals.
For the first time this season, RCB failed to post a 200-plus total while batting first against Delhi Titans. They failed to defend 175 runs at home after Romario Shepherd gave away 17 runs in five balls in the last over, resulting in a six-wicket defeat.
RCB are unlikely to make any changes to their playing eleven, but could be tempted to utilize Jacob Bethell in place of Romario Shepherd, who is struggling to contribute with both bat and ball this season.
