NEW DELHI: Iceland Cricket has continued to roast Pakistan with another witty dig, following Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi's announcement that a final decision on their T20 World Cup participation will be made by Monday.
With Pakistan still undecided about their T20 World Cup participation, Iceland Cricket jumped in with a playful social media post, teasing them for taking their time to make up their minds.
They playfully called out Pakistan for delaying their decision on whether to participate in the T20 World Cup. They joked that their own team is ready to travel the moment Pakistan confirms a pullout on February 2, but the tight flight schedule to reach Colombo by February 7 makes logistics tricky.
We really need Pakistan to decide soon upon their participation in the T20 WC.

We are ready to take off as soon as they pull out on 2nd Feb, but the flight schedule is a logistical nightmare to get us to Colombo in good time for 7th Feb.

Their new post comes a couple of days after they hilariously poked fun at Pakistan, questioning their decision to participate and joking about the unfairness to their squad.
Apparently, Pakistan will not finally decide on whether to take their T20 WC place until 2nd February. This is very sneaky and unfair on our squad, who need certainty and extensive preparation in order to perform at their best. Our captain is a professional baker.

Naqvi took to social media om Monday to confirm that the issue was discussed at length during his meeting on Monday with the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
"I had a productive meeting with the Prime Minister and briefed him on the ICC matter. He directed that we resolve it while keeping all options on the table," Naqvi tweeted.
"It was agreed that the final decision will be taken either on Friday or next Monday," he added.
The PCB had earlier maintained that the government would take the final call on Pakistan's participation in the event in view of the evolving situation following Bangladesh's exit from the competition.
Bangladesh, who have been replaced by Scotland in the 20-team event, had sought shifting of its matches to Sri Lanka, citing security concerns in India but the ICC shot down the proposal, saying no such verifiable threat exists.
