There are very few exciting names in the IPL auction 2025 most expensive players list like every year. Mitchell Starc was the most expensive player in IPL 2024 with 24.75 cr, sold to KKR. His fellow teammate Pat Cummins was the next name in this list with 20.5 cr to SRH. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were the most expensive players list with 16cr and 17cr price respectively sold to MI and LSG. Sam Curran was the most expensive player in IPL 2023, with 18.5 cr price and sold to Punjab Kings. Cameron Green was sold to MI at 17.5 cr and KL Rahul got 17 cr from LSG. Most Expensive Indian Players in IPL Auction 2025
Rishabh Pant was the most expensive player in IPL 2025 auction. He was sold to LSG at 27 cr. Shreyas Iyer, the next name in the list, got 26.75 cr from Punjab Kings. KKR bought Venkatesh Iyer at 23.75 cr and the legend Virat Kohli got 21 cr from RCB. CSK bought both Ravindra Jadeja & Ruturaj Gaikwad at 18 cr.
Mumbai Indians bought the Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah at 18 cr. Sanju Samson, the next name in the IPL auction 2025 expensive players list, sold to Rajasthan Royals at 18 cr. The talented left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was sold to Rajasthan at the price of 18 cr. Punjab Kings bought the bowling spearhead Arshdeep Singh & leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal at 18 cr.
Axar Patel and Shubman Gill were sold for 16.5 cr to Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans respectively. Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya & Rohit Sharma are the next names in the list, who were sold to Mumbai Indians at 16.35 cr.
Most Expensive Overseas Players in IPL Auction 2025
South African wicket-keeper Heinrich Klaasen is the most expensive overseas player in the IPL 2025 auction at 23 cr sold to SRH. Nicholas Pooran is the next name who was sold to LSG at 21 cr. Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan & Pat Cummins, the Aussie skipper got 18 cr from Gujarat Titans & Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.
Jos Buttler was sold to GT at 15.75 cr and Travis Head got 14 cr from SRH. Three bowling spearheads Jofra Archer, Josh Hazlewood & Trent Boult were sold to Rajasthan, RCB and Mumbai at 12.5 cr. Andre Russell and Sunil Narine were retained by KKR at 12 cr. Mitchell Starc got 11.75 Cr from Delhi and Philip Salt got 11.5 cr from RCB respectively. Shimron Hetmyer and Marcus Stoinis are the next names in the list who were sold for 11 cr to Rajasthan and Punjab Kings.
