South Africa women and India women are set to begin the five-match T20I series today in Durban. Both teams will eye a winning start to the bilateral series as early preparations for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 in June.
India Women are coming off a 2-1 T20I series win against Australia and are ranked third in the ICC Women's team rankings. The hosts lost their last T20I series against New Zealand by 1-4 and are looking to make a strong comeback before the World Cup.
