Suryakumar Yadav: Credit to all the batters, especially Abhishek and Shubman. The way they started in the powerplay was smart, they realized early it wasn’t a typical wicket for 200+. Everyone chipped in, and it was a complete team effort with the bat. The messages were clear from outside as well, me and Gauti bhai were on the same page. The bowlers adapted quickly, especially with a bit of dew coming in. The way they bowled was fantastic. It’s great to have bowlers who can give you two or three overs, and on some days even four. It depends on the situation, some days Washington bowls four, some days Shivam or Arshdeep might bowl less. This flexibility suits us. Everyone’s ready to step up and do what the team needs.

Mitchell Marsh: Yeah, of course. Around 167 was a bit hard on that wicket. The wicket provided a few challenges with the bat. In those situations, you just need a couple of partnerships, and we weren’t able to build that. So, fair play to India, they’re a world-class team, especially in these conditions. Not really. Ideally, you’d have your full-strength side every game, but some of the boys have a big series coming up. We also like giving guys opportunities leading into the World Cup. High-pressure games like this are great for exposure. Not that I’m aware of, no changes expected. We’ll check on a few niggles, make sure everyone’s fit, and be ready in a couple of days.

FOUR! Marcus Stoinis finds the gap with a powerful pull off Bumrah. The bowler tried a surprise bouncer, but Stoinis positioned himself perfectly and drove it well in front of square, almost reaching the ropes. A much-needed boundary for Australia. AUS 113/6 in (15.5)

The chase is far from over but Australia need to accelerate now. With a current run rate of 6.98, they require 68 runs off 34 balls. Every shot and every over will be crucial as they aim to keep up with the required rate.
