The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday unveiled ‘Feel the Thrill’, the official anthem of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, setting the mood for a tournament that promises high-octane action and global excitement. The song has been composed and performed by popular Indian music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander.
Released worldwide, Feel the Thrill will serve as the sonic identity of the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. Capturing the raw intensity of T20 cricket, the track blends energetic beats with powerful lyrics that echo the emotion, drama and passion synonymous with the shortest format.
Opening with the line, “When nations collide, action isn’t watched, it’s lived,” the song reflects the fierce competitive spirit that defines the T20 World Cup. With its global sound and pulsating rhythm, the anthem aims to resonate with cricket fans across continents, even before the first ball is bowled.
Highlighting the scale of the tournament, the lyrics underline the pride and pressure at stake as 20 teams battle it out across 55 matches for the coveted T20 crown. “This is where national pride swings with every shot / Where passion hits as hard as the ball,” the song proclaims, encapsulating the drama of the month-long spectacle.
ICC Chief Executive Officer Sanjog Gupta said the official song was designed to mirror the cultural and emotional impact of the event. “ICC pinnacle events are global cultural extravaganzas, bringing together sport, entertainment, community and diversity. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is uniquely competitive and expressive, creating moments that turn into lifelong memories. The official song aspires to bring this spirit alive by connecting fans and celebrating the diversity of the global cricketing community,” he said.

Anirudh Ravichander described the anthem as an emotional tribute to the universal language of cricket. “Every cheer, every silence and every heartbeat connects in the same tune when it comes to cricket. It’s more than a game; it’s an emotion. Feel the Thrill is our attempt to unite fans across the world, beyond rivalries, through the shared love for the sport,” he said.
The song is now available across major digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, Instagram and Facebook.
The 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup marks the return of the tournament to the subcontinent, with matches scheduled across eight venues in seven cities. India, the defending champions, will be aiming to make history, as no host nation has previously won the tournament on home soil.
