ICC T20 World Cup Teams
The T20 World Cup 2026 is going to start on 7th February in Colombo. There will be 3 matches on the opening day of the World cup and will start with the Pakistan vs Netherlands clash. The World Cup schedule has been announced and India/Sri Lanka will be the hosting countries of this year’s tournament. So let’s have a look at the icc t20 world cup teams for this year.
All Teams of ICC T20 World Cup 2026:
The number of icc t20 world cup teams in this year’s edition will be the same as the previous year. 20 teams will compete each other for the final encounter which is scheduled on 8th March, 2026. This year all the teams are divided in 4 groups with 5 teams in each group. The top two teams from each group will play the quarter final in the next stage of the tournament. And the winners of the 8 quarter finals and the winners of the quarter finals will play the semifinal matches on 4th and 5th March, 2026.

There are 4 different groups in ICC T20 WC 2026 with 5 teams in each group. India, Pakistan, USA, Namibia, Netherlands are the t20 wc teams placed in Group A to keep the sensation and thrill of India and Pakistan rivalry. Group B consists of Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Oman where we are expecting some real fights between Australia and Sri Lanka.
In group C England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy, Nepal are placed together and there will be real excitement from the power hitters of West Indies and the firepower of England. Though Bangladesh aren’t also that much far behind in T20 competitions and will produce great competition in the tournament. Group D can be the group of death in 2026 ICC World Cup where South Africa, New Zealand and Afghanistan are placed together with Canada & UAE
