Chris Gayle to Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina to Mahela Jayawardene there are many players around the globe who made records with the highest individual score in t20 World Cup history. 

Players with Highest Individual Score in T20 World Cup

Brendon McCullum has achieved the highest individual score in t20 world cup history. He smashed 123 runs in 58 balls against Bangladesh in the 2012 WC. McCullum hit 11 boundaries and 7 sixes in this innings with a strike rate of 212.06. Chris Gayle scored 117 runs in 57 balls against South Africa in 2007 t20 world cup at a strike rate of 205.26. 

Alex Hales smashed 116 runs in 64 balls in the 2014 T20 WC against Sri Lanka. In this innings he hit 11 fours and 6 sixes. Ahmed Shehzad scored 111 runs in 64 balls against Bangladesh in the same season. He smashed 10 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. 

Rilee Rossouw scored 109 runs in 56 balls at a strike rate of 194.64 against Bangladesh with 7 boundaries and 8 sixes in the 2022 t20 wc. Glenn Phillips scored 104 runs in 64 balls in the same WC against Sri Lanka in Sydney.

Tamim Iqbal is the next name with the highest individual score in the t20 world cup table, who scored 103 runs in 63 balls against Oman in Dharamshala in 2016 wc. He smashed 10 boundaries and 5 long sixes in this innings. Jos Buttler scored 104 runs in 67 balls against Sri Lanka in 2021 T20 wc. Suresh Raina, the only name from India in this list who scored a superb century in 2010 t20 wc against South Africa.

Consistent Players in the Highest Individual Score in t20 World Cup List

Chris Gayle and Mahela Jayawardene appeared multiple times in the highest individual score in t20 World Cup tally. Gayle smashed the first century in t20 wc history in 2007, he scored another ton in 2016 wc with an unbeaten 100 runs knock. He missed a well deserved century by 2 runs in 2010 wc when he scored 98 runs in 66 balls vs India in Bridgetown.

Jayawardene scored a hundred against Zimbabwe in the 2010 World cup. He smashed 10 fours and 4 sixes in that innings. He also missed an hundred in 2010 T20 WC, with an unbeaten 98 runs knock, with 9 fours and 4 sixes. Luke Wright missed a well deserved hundred in 2012 world cup with an unbeaten 99 runs, who also features in this list with Nicholas Pooran, and Dilshan from Sri Lanka.
