Where is Prasidh Krishna?
Prasidh Krishna misses back-to-back matches and there is still no update on his absence. Is there any injury issue, or has the player fallen out of favor at the Titans?
Prasidh picked up 10 wickets in his first four innings this season, but managed to bag only 2 in the last three innings. So, his absence draws many questions.

Gujarat Titans eye consistency
Gujarat Titans are struggling with consistency, having won four and lost four matches in the IPL 2026. Shubman Gill-led side started this season with two defeats, followed by three successive wins, and again two defeats.
In their last game against CSK, the 2022 IPL champions easily chased down a 159-run target to keep their playoff hopes alive. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan have been brilliant at the top, but Jos Buttler is struggling after a strong start to the season.
With the ball, the Titans have Kagiso Rabada leading the attack with regular wickets. Prasidh Krishan has been brilliant with the old ball, but was surprisingly left out of their playing eleven in the last game. Rashidh Khan and Mohammed Siraj are struggling for consistency for the second consecutive season, and need to step up against RCB's strong batting unit today.
RCB eye top spot in the points table
The defending champions kicked off their IPL 2026 season with four wins in the first five games, followed by a hiccup against Delhi Capitals. However, they are back to their best with two dominant wins in their last two games.
In their last match against Delhi Capitals away, Bhuvneswar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood wreaked havoc to bowl out the opponents on 75 total. They chased down the target with nine wickets to significantly boost their NRR.
With 6 wins in 8 games, RCB sit second in the points table. A win today will boost them to the top and close to an early playoff qualification.
