Yokozuna was indeed one of the biggest wrestlers of the mid 90s of WWE, and he achieved multiple records in the promotion in a very short time period. He won the Royal Rumble match of 1993 at the age of 26, making him the youngest Royal Rumble winner. He was also the youngest WWE World Champion during his time.
He defeated "The Hitman" Bret Hart at WrestleMania IX to win his first WWE World Championship. Vince McMahon pushed him to the moon soon after he became a part of his promotion. He was a consistent main event star of WWE during the New Generation Era of the promotion during the mid 90s.

Yokozuna gets praised by the Undertaker
Yokozuna was presented as an unstoppable force, but in real life he was a very fun loving person, and whoever worked with him always shared praise for him. The Undertaker, who worked with him multiple times in the ring. Speaking on the “Club 520” podcast recently, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about the late great Samoan wrestler recently;
Yokozuna was a two times WWE World Champion
“Yokozuna defied what your eyes and your brain could comprehend. You would see somebody his size, which most people didn’t realize, he was about 6’4, but he was so big, man, he could move; he was like a cat.” said the WWE Hall of Famer regarding one of the biggest rivals of his early WWE career.

He was only 34 at the time of his death
He continued; “He was so athletic and ahead of his time, man, as far as the big guys. Man, he was incredible, man. He’s one of those guys I think about almost every day. Man, we ran up and down those roads together, we worked against each other – which is always… Which was just always an honor.”
Yokozuna had a very short professional wrestling career as he had to retire from in ring action quite early since he was struggling to manage his obesity issues. Despite being huge in size, he was always considered one of the safest wrestlers to work with. Unfortunately, he passed away in the year 2000 at the age of 34.
