The identity of the masked man has been a huge matter of discussion for WWE fans ever since he showed up for the first time at Survivor Series. The men's War Games match was going wild, and a mystery man wearing a mask showed up at the end and attacked CM Punk. Surprisingly, he grounded Punk with the Stomp.

The Stomp is originally the finisher of Seth Rollins, who is presently out with an injury. Since the identity of the masked man has not been revealed yet, the fans have been speculating about who it could have been. It is quite clear that WWE wants the fans to believe that it is Seth Rollins, but it has already been confirmed that he is out with a long term injury and he will not be able to return before April.

The masked man showed up on RAW again

Last week on RAW, there was no sign of this mystery man. Fans had been expecting that he would only show up against CM Punk, whom he attacked inside the War Games Steel Cage at Survivor Series. But it is reported that CM Punk is presently out of action since he is not medically fit to appear. He did not show up this week either.

He attacked Rey Mysterio on RAW

But surprisingly, the masked man showed up this week on RAW, and this time he attacked WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and later, LA Knight, which brings the question: what purpose is he serving? CM Punk may not have been his sole target anyway. Maybe he is assisting someone. Maybe it is Logan Paul, whom he has been helping all along.

The Identity of the masked man is still unknown

The introduction of the masked man has been a great idea so far, since the fans have finally got something to talk about after a long time. Some fans are not happy that WWE did not reveal the identity since they are not able to keep their patience. But it is a good idea since the fans are hooked after a long time.

That brings us to the question: Who is the masked man? After he showed up on RAW, the prediction remained the same as it is still believed that he is none other than Austin Theory, who was the big project for McMahon, but Triple H never considered him a future star. Hopefully, things change for the former WWE United States Champion.
