Becky Lynch is often considered the first and only female megastar in WWE history, and there is no doubt she is one of the best wrestlers in the history of women's wrestling. The Irish professional wrestler has been active in the wrestling world for over two decades, and she has done everything a female wrestler can dream of.
But it is always said that with great success comes a lot of criticism. "The Man" also had to go through a lot of criticism throughout her professional wrestling career, and one of the most constant criticisms she had to deal with was being overrated, something that almost all the top stars have to go through.
Wrestling legend criticized Becky Lynch for burying talents
Wrestling legend Vince Russo has always been quite critical of Becky, and she has always considered her overrated. Recently, while speaking on “The Coach & Bro” podcast, he slammed Becky for burying "every other woman wrestler." She also explained how WWE should have booked the return of AJ Lee. He said;

“I’ll just give it to you real quick, twofold, okay? Number one: before Lee comes out and everybody knows she’s coming out, unless you’re brain-dead. Everybody knows she’s coming out. What’s the first thing? What’s the first thing Becky Lynch does?” he explained, “She buries every other woman wrestler. ‘I’m not afraid of Bayley, and I’m not…’ Why would you do that? What is the point of burying Bayley and Rhea? You don’t do that, Coach. There’s no reason to do that.”
Becky Lynch is presently having a rivalry with AJ Lee
“Then she’s not afraid of Bayley, she’s not afraid of Rhea Ripley. Then a 38-year-old woman who hasn’t wrestled in 10 years, who looks like she weighs 92 pounds, comes skipping-my-loo down to the ring. And the look on The Man’s face is like King Kong, Godzilla, Jaws, and Bigfoot are all making their way.”
The claim is not completely right, as we have seen Becky Lynch putting over Bianca Belair for a complete year. Besides, when you are talking about the top stars of the promotion, you should always expect them to win most of their matches. And Becky is still pretty much in good shape, so we cannot expect her to start putting on talents only.
