John Cena is presently going through his retirement tour as he has already announced that he will retire from in ring action at the end of this year. He started his retirement tour at the Netflix RAW premiere last January, and in this retirement tour, he did a lot of things, and it is not exaggerated if said that it is one of the best years in his professional wrestling career.
It all started with winning the Elimination Chamber and also winning his 17 World Championship reign, which is still a record in WWE, as nobody else could ever win so many world titles in WWE. He also had his first heel run in nearly 22 years, and the world title he had was his only world title reign as a heel.

The latest match John Cena had was at the Clash in Paris event against the former WWE United States champion Logan Paul. No doubt it was one of the best matches of the night. Cena recently explained why he wanted this match with Logan Paul when he spoke about his match during the post-show press conference. Here is what he had to say;

“Because he answered the challenge. I set up like, ‘Hey guys, I feel pretty good. I feel like I’m gonna go down swinging. I wanna give everything I have to the business, who wants to step up?’ And man, I remember someone giving me an opportunity in Chicago, Illinois. And I stepped up, I wasn’t ready. And there’s a whole lot of people who could have faced Kurt Angle that night, but I was the one who had the stupid bravery to slap him in the face and that’s how we started this journey.
“So, I’ve got a lot of respect for Logan Paul. I see — and I think the WWE Universe can agree. I see so much potential in him. And he’s just so good at this. I will say this: there has never been somebody who’s been the marquee in this business who hasn’t been borderline unhealthy obsessed with it. You have to invest your heart and your soul.
John Cena is likely to start a rivalry with Brock Lesnar next

After the match at Clash in Paris, John Cena is expected to start his much awaited rivalry with Brock Lesnar, which started at the end of SummerSlam when Brock Lesnar made a surprise return and attacked him. The two legends are heavily rumored to face each other at the upcoming event, Crown Jewel in Australia.
