Last year, John Cena made a heartbreaking announcement that he would retire by the end of 2025, and on the first episode of RAW 2025, which was also the Netflix RAW Premiere, he started his retirement tour. Overall, it has been an excellent run, arguably, one of the best runs of his legendary professional wrestling career.
He has won his 17th World title at WrestleMania 41, he had his only World title run as a heel, and at SummerSlam, he dropped the championship to Cody Rhodes. At the end of the show, he was attacked by the returning Brock Lesnar, making it clear that he would have a feud with He Beast Incarnate before his career ends.
Bubba Ray Dudley believes Bron Breakker should retire John Cena
Reports suggest that Brock Lesnar is going to be the final opponent of John Cena's professional wrestling career. But WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley thought otherwise as he suggested it should be Bron Breakker who should be given the honour. Speaking on "Busted Open Radio" Podcast, he explained the following;

“Bron Breaker. I don’t want to see Seth Rollins in there with John. I don’t want to see Randy Orton in there with John. I don’t want to see Cody.” said WWE Hall of Famer hand to tag team Legend regarding the retirement match of John Cena which will take place by the end of this year.
Cena will retire by the end of this year
He continued; “I don’t want to see any of that stuff. I want to see somebody that can benefit from this match … I’m sorry, I want to see somebody that can benefit from this moment. Because the entire thing is going to be about a moment. The match is going to be insignificant. The moment is going to be when the bell rings and you are standing across the ring from John Cena in his last match in Boston. That’s the moment. You’re also going to be the guy in the ring with John Cena when the finish happens.”
Reports suggest that Cena wanted to have his final feud with Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar really does not need to be his final opponent, as he is already an established top star. The honour of retiring Cena should be given to a new star, and Bron Breakker can definitely be a worthy name since he is one of the biggest upcoming stars of the promotion.
