The illustrious professional wrestling career of John Cena is coming to an end this December, and it is definitely going to be the end of an era. He began his professional wrestling career in 1999 and has been active on the main roster of WWE since 2002. He won his first World Championship in WWE in 2005, and since then, he has never looked back.
He established himself as the face of WWE after winning the world title for the first time at WrestleMania 21. At WrestleMania 41, he won his 17th World Championship in WWE, which is the highest number of world title wins in the history of WWE. He remained the face of WWE for over two decades he is still considered one of the biggest attractions of the promotion.

John Cena also worked as a heel for the first time in over 21 years during this retirement tour. It had always been a consistent request from many fans to see him work as a heel, but he never turned heel after his babyface turn in 2003. Cena did an excellent job as a heel, and ultimately, he turned face just before SummerSlam.
WWE has organised a 16 man tournament to determine the final opponent of John Cena
WWE has organised a 16 man tournament to determine the final opponent of John Cena, and he will wrestle his final match at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event show on December 13. Present NXT Women's Champion Tatum Paxley recently talked about the upcoming final match between Cena, and she also discussed who should be the final opponent of the Greatest of All Time. Speaking on the “Eat, Sleep, Repeat” podcast, she said the following;

Cena will wrestle his final match on December 13, at Saturday Night's Main Event
“You know, I was going to say Gunther. I think that would be really cool, but I think somebody like LA Knight that would be a really great opportunity for him. Dominik Mysterio would be a really fun watch, but those would probably be my top three picks to be his last match.” said Tatum Paxley.
John Cena had only one thing unaccomplished in his wrestling career in his professional wrestling career, and that was becoming a Grand Slam Champion. Last week on RAW, he defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship and became a WWE Grand Slam Champion. No wrestling career has ever been more complete than Cena's, and he is truly the Greatest of All Time.
