Naomi was holding the Women's World Championship, which she won at the Evolution event recently by cashing her Money in the Bank contract. Iyo Sky was defending the Championship against Rhea Ripley on the main event of the mentioned show. Suddenly, Naomi appeared and cashed in her contract.

This was her first World Championship run in over 7 years, and she worked really hard to regain her main event status. This one was also special because this was the first time she was working as a heel in WWE, and there is no doubt that she was doing an amazing job. We can expect not to see her in action for more than a year.

Naomi revealed her feelings after getting to know about her pregnancy

Before RAW this week, Naomi and her husband Jimmy Uso announced the news on the podcast of Stephanie McMahon. It was already humid last week after she did not compete against Iyo Sky. She also said a lot of things regarding this pregnancy and also revealed how she felt when she got to know about it. Speaking on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast, she revealed the following;

Naomi relinquished the Women's World Championship due to pregnancy

“I found out Sunday (August 10) on the road. In my hotel room. had been feeling a little different, a little weird. Wanted to take a test to make sure and rule that out. Not thinking because it’s been a long journey with fertility issues that I’ve had. I really didn’t think it was possible.”

The Women's World Championship is now vacant

“Earlier in our relationship, before I debuted as a Funkadactyl, I had an oophorectomy, which is the removal of my right ovary. In 2020, we went through another major surgery, which is a myomectomy, the removal of fibroids. I had tons, and big ones. On top of being 37 and only having one ovary, we thought that, naturally, I couldn’t any more.”

Now the question stands, what WWE would do with the Women's World Championship, and who is going to be the next champion. Presently, there are multiple options in the hands of WWE, but in books like Rhea Ripley stands as the biggest contender to win the title. Bianca Belair can also win it if she returns to action by the right time.
