R-Truth's release dilemma this year had been one of the most talked about incidents of WWE. He had been one of the most dedicated wrestlers in WWE history, who had been active in the promotion for nearly two decades and is considered one of the most influential names in the industry.

On June 1, it was reported that WWE released R-Truth from the promotion after 17 years of service. Instantly, it sparked backlash among the fans. In each and every Show after that, the fans in the arenas kept on chanting "We Want Truth," and WWE had to respond to this support.

R-Truth discusses his 2025 release

Soon after his release, he made a return to the promotion and attacked John Cena. The fans went completely wild over one of their favorites. Recently Truth spoke to the "Toronto Sun" where he explained what impact it 2025 release made of in his life and career. Here is what he had to say;

"The outreach. The outreach, the love. I don't know if it was meant — I think it was meant for me, and it was meant for everybody, man, to show like [it mattered]. Through all social media, you're talking about over 100 million reactions of emotions and of unifying over one thing.

He was also brought back to the promotion in only one week's time

"So if anything, it shows that we all can come together on something, regardless of what, how, when, where — boom. We all came together on something. So that's showing the good of humanity, man. That was great," said the former two times WWE United States champion.

After returning to WWE, Truth has also picked up a questionable character. He trimmed his hair in front of the crowd, and he also demanded to be addressed by his real name, which is Ron Killings. His present character is completely different from the comedy character he used to play.
