TKO has been in charge of WWE since as early as 2023, and they have changed the promotion forever. Nowadays, WWE looks more like a corporate show that only focuses on making profits and not on quality shows. Triple H, the Chief Content Officer of the promotion, is trying really hard to provide good shows, but he is still new, and he needs a little more time.
One of the most frustrating things for the fans after TKO took over WWE was the rising ticket prices. Vince McMahon always kept the ticket price affordable for the fans, and no matter how much criticism he had to face, he never had to deal with criticism for raising the ticket price. TKO, on the other hand, is doing the exact opposite by raising the price of the tickets.

WWE Hall of Famer thinks Vince McMahon cared about his fans more than TKO
The fans who buy tickets on a regular basis are really frustrated with this decision, and they keep on criticizing TKO. WWE Hall of Famer and Tag Team legend Bubba Ray Dudley recently talked about this issue and also criticized TKO for raising the ticket price. He also said that Vince McMahon always kept the ticket price pocket friendly. Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast recently, he said;
“This might blow your mind if you already don’t know already: Vince McMahon would never do this. As big as it was [WWE], and even a publicly traded company, it was nothing more than a glorified mom and pop fruit stand. It was run by Vince, Linda, Stephanie, Shane, and obviously, Hunter, you know, marrying into the family.
TKO is facing criticism for raising the ticket price of WWE shows
"Once Vince understood the old school way of promoting pro wrestling, of how to put as*es in seats and how important the house shows were, as you know, on par with even the bigger events. That mentality, does Hunter understand and know that mentality? Absolutely. However, now that TKO is involved, I don’t believe that TKO is family-friendly, because of what you just said, you know, people popping all at the same time.

Vince McMahon always kept the ticket price budget friendly
"And then one night, for some reason, only 19,999 pop. And that’s the night you got to worry about. Eventually, they’re going to go, ‘Whoops, we charged 100 last time, and we sold out. We charged 150 this time, and we’re only at 95 percent full. Why? Is it the strength of the creative? Is it who’s on top? Or can people no longer afford this ticket?’”
The quality of the product of WWE is slowly declining, too, as the promotion is failing to promote new stars and only relying on the stars that Vince McMahon created during his time. The promotion has started to lose fans, and the loyal fans are afraid that they may not be able to bring in new fans. The present model has to change before it is too late.
