Triple H became the head of Creative of WWE in 2022 after Vince McMahon announced his retirement. The fans are extremely frustrated with the repetitive and boring booking of Vince McMahon, and they were desperately looking for a change. After Triple H took charge of the creative, the fans for extremely happy since she had a great reputation for booking the early days of NXT.

He did an amazing job during his early days in the promotion. We got the amazing overbooked main event of WrestleMania XL under his reign, and we also got the excellent Bloodline drama, including the segment from Royal Rumble 2023. Moreover, he was doing an amazing job during his early days.

But slowly, things started to become quite repetitive and predictable. The fans became extremely frustrated with the present product of WWE, and a large number of hands have already started to demand a change. Professional wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared criticism for the present WWE Chief Content Officer while speaking on his “Writing with Russo” podcast. He said the following;

Triple H has been the creative in charge of WWE since 2022

“I think we are really going to see the fanbase start to turn on Triple H. I really believe that. When I used to hear a lot about the product, it was Russo’s brand; they reviewed the product, and they echoed what I said.

“I hear it being said now outside the Russo’s brand. I am starting to hear about the creative more and more. You tie that to the fact that the guy puts himself all over everything, and I’m telling you, I think people are going to start turning on him going into 2026.”

It has to be accepted that The Game is trying really hard to keep the fans entertained, but it looks like his best effort is not enough, and he definitely has to make some changes as soon as possible. One of the things he is doing wrong is relying on 40+ aged stars as main eventers and not focusing on putting over younger talents. We hope he changes his model soon.
