John Cena's worth in his last SummerSlam event before his retirement, where he defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. Ultimately, he was beaten by the American Nightmare and lost his 17th world title. This is definitely going to be his final WWE World title run.
Cena won his 17th World title at WrestleMania 41, where he defeated Cody Rhodes. He had been a successful champion asl he defended the title against the likes of his biggest rivals CM Punk and Randy Orton. Finally, he dropped the Championship at SummerSlam last night to Cody Rhodes.

Triple H praises John Cena for his performance at SummerSlam
At the age of 48, John Cena showcased an excellent match at Summerslam so far, is retirement tour has been quite successful. He would have his final rivalry against Brock Lesnar before he officially retires from in ring action. Triple H recently praised Cena's Summerslam while speaking on the post show of the event. Here is what he had to say;

“I told John at the beginning of this, he earned the right to do all this the way he wanted to do it. And he is. And I think that’s an incredible thing. When you’ve been on a journey that long as a performer, you get that. You know, when you’ve done it for that long, when you’ve been in the slot that you’ve been in that long, you’ve earned that right.
"Everything he’s done for this business, everything he’s done for fans for years. On his way out, the ride he wants to take them on, he’s earned that right. And tonight, I thought he put on one of the best performances of his career.

Brock Lesnar returned and attacked John Cena at the end of the show
"And to do that where he’s at in life is extremely, extremely difficult. I know the schedule he’s on right now, and it is beyond anyone’s comprehension of what he is doing. So my appreciation for it is even greater. But I thought he knocked it out of the park tonight.”
Cena had a short but much awaited heel run, which may not be as good as expected, but he finally listened to the fans. There had been a request for Cena's heel turn for over 15 years, and finally, it was delivered. John Cena turned babyface again on last week's SmackDown, and it looks like he is going to retire as a babyface.
