Triple H has been managing WWE as the Content Head and Chief Content Officer since 2022. After Vince McMahon stepped out of WWE in the mentioned year, Triple H was given the responsibility to run the creative of WWE, and for the last three years, he has been doing a commendable job as the Head of Creative of the promotion.
But he also has to go through a lot of criticism, like not putting in enough talent and only relying on the already established names. A large number of fans also criticized him for only focusing on the main event scene and ignoring the rest of the roster. The promotion is also struggling in terms of ratings and viewership after Triple H took charge.
Triple H answers his critics
The Cerebral Assassin recently responded to his critics by pulling out the infamous curtain call incident from 1996, where he had been accused of breaking kayfabe and was also punished for his act. Speaking on “The Pat McAfee Show” recently, the former 14 times World Champion justified himself by saying the following;

“It’s a funny thing in my career. If you go back to me getting in trouble for the Curtain Call, back then, that was us sort of getting in trouble with the old generation because we sort of broke kayfabe rules and went out there, but it was the biggest reaction of the night at the Garden.”
He is the present WWE Chief Content Officer
“Funny that the internet is all complaining that we’re lifting the curtain and showing stuff, but meanwhile they’re doing a podcast that all it does is talk about the behind-the-scenes sh*t that’s going on. I don’t understand that logic. The world knows. An 8-year-old kid picks up his iPhone and googles stuff, and it tells him all the behind-the-scenes stuff right there. So, being able to see it, we’re still not showing you how the trick is done.”
As of now, he is actually relying on the already established names, which is pretty much true, but he is also promoting stars like Bron Breakker, who is definitely a future top star, and names could be taken from the present NXT roster who will surely go on to become top stars after making main roster debuts. So the pants should remain a little more patient.
