John Cena finally wrestled his last ever match last Saturday at the Saturday Night's Main Event against the former two times World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The excitement of the fans was really high in this match, and the fans were totally engaged throughout this match.
But nobody could accept the fact that John Cena lost his final match, and that is also via submission. It was the first time in 21 long years that Cena tapped out. The fans were really disappointed after the defeat of Cena, and they started booing all the officials in attendance, especially Triple H, who received a terrible reaction from the fans as soon as he appeared to bid adieu to Cena.

Triple H is disappointed with the negative reaction he received
Triple H recently reacted to the crowd reaction he received after the defeat of Cena, and he said that he was disappointed with the way the crowd reacted towards him, because he thought he would receive a louder negative reaction. During the post show, Triple H explained the following regarding the negative reaction;
“There are time-honored traditions in our business, and there are ways you handle your business. John has said the right thing his entire career, that it’s about leaving this place better than you found it. There is no way for people to understand that in the moment. You do what is right for the business. You do what is right for the industry.
Triple H thought he should have received a louder negative reaction
"John has done that his entire career. I’m going to do that for my entire career. I will do what I believe is right for this business. It is what it is. I understand that is tough for people to understand. It’s part of what we do. That is the role we have chosen.
“If you were to say, ‘What will Cena do on his way out?’ Take the emotion out of it and ask people, ‘What will John Cena do?’ I’m not talking about the character. His entire career, sum that all up and say, ‘What will he do on the way out?’

Triple H was booed after John Cena lost his retirement match
"If you want to talk behind the scenes. He will put over somebody on the way out. He will leave this better than he found it. He will go in the ring and make somebody on his way out. That’s what John does and has always done. I know people will criticize this and look at it and talk about this moment right here. I’ve got big shoulders, I’m good with it.”
The fans may have been emotionally carried away after the defeat of John Cena, but it was a fashion in WWE that wrestlers never win their farewell matches. They also told an excellent story in this match, which described the whole career of Cena. Overall, we believe they did an amazing jo,b and it could not be booked in any better way.
