The Undertaker wrestling career:
The Undertaker started his professional wrestling career back in 1987, and he worked in various independent circuit wrestling promotions. He got his big break in 1989 when he got to sign a professional contract with WCW. He worked as Mean Mark in the promotion but did not get enough exposure.
In 1990, he signed with WWE for the first time in his career, and he made his WWE debut during the Survivor Series event of that year. This also worked the first time he debuted his iconic Undertaker character. During his first match, he appeared as the surprise member of the team of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.
He started working as a heel during his early days, but he became quite popular among the WWE fans because of his unique character and excellent in ring work. In November 1991, he defeated Hulk Hogan to win the WWE World Championship for the first time in his career. During that time, he was the youngest WWE World Champion as he was only 26 year old.
It took him nearly 6 years to win his second WWE World Championship. The defeated Sycho Sid at WrestleMania 13 to win his second World title. By the time he had been a megastar of WWE, he was also a megastar of the Attitude Era of the promotion, along with The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. She even had some huge matches with some of the biggest stars in wrestling.
In the year 2000, he introduced the American Badass character for the first time in WWE, and he continued this character until the end of 2003. It is often regarded as the real Undertaker, but the majority of the fans did not prefer this character, and they wanted his Dead Man character back. WWE finally brought the Dead Man character back at WrestleMania XX. After that, he never dropped the character as long as he was active in the ring.
He kept on working as a wrestler until 2020 before his final match at WrestleMania 36 against AJ Styles. He had some excellent matches with the life of Shawn Michaels and Triple H. His two matches with Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 25 and WrestleMania 26 are still considered to be two of the best matches in WrestleMania history.
Another important thing about the Undertaker is his WrestleMania streak, which continued for 24 years. He remained undefeated at WrestleMania for 21 events until he was finally defeated by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. He is often considered the best WrestleMania performer in the history of WWE.
