At the latest big event of WWE, which is Saturday Night's Main Event, he challenged John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a losing effort.

Just getting featured on one of the main event segments of the recent big show and then getting released is definitely a questionable decision. Recent news also suggests that former WWE United States champion Carlito has also been shown the door, and he is also on his way out of the promotion.

Carlito had been quite impressive in his recent WWE tenure, especially after he joined the Judgment Day faction. His absence will be a big loss for the mentioned faction. Reports are coming out that former two times WWE World Champion The Miz is also leaving WWE soon.

It had been noticed that "The A Lister" has recently deleted his Twitter post regarding WWE, much like Gunther, which is brutally indicating towards a potential departure of the former champion. This is going to be a huge loss for the WWE roster.

But why has WWE suddenly started to release all these veterans? It looks like WWE officials are not ready to pay any money to the elderly once and they want to focus on the younger stars. But one thing they must understand is that they need legends to promote young stars. We hope they understand soon what is best for business.
