She started working regularly as a tag team with Izzi Dame, and finally, at the NXT Halloween Havoc event, she defeated Jacy Jayne to win the NXT Women's Championship.

WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley recently talked about the top success of Tatum Paxley and also talked about her NXT Women's Championship win. You also explained why she is the right person to win the Championship in this situation. Speaking on the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, he said the following;
“The match was awesome. For Tatum, she’s loved. She reminds me a lot of different people that didn’t get enough love, or don’t get enough love. And she has a unique relationship with her audience. There’s a lot of this underground groundswell for certain talents where like, ‘No. We really like this person.

"Maybe ’cause they are different, maybe ’cause they work different. But we really like you, and we are waiting.’ And it’s like — you could always see like, ‘Oh, here’s all the main event players coming in.’ Especially at one point where NXT was loaded.
"And I’m talking like Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia. Jordynne Grace. They’re all coming in and like, ‘Oh, these are all our next top top acts.’ Jacy Jane becomes your champion, but then you also have like the Lola Vices. The list goes on and on for the top level women in NXT. But the entire time it’s like, she’s right there the entire time in its Tatum.” said the WWE Hall of Famer.
