The first ever two night SummerSlam event had been excellent, and it was loaded with some amazing action filled matches. The fans expected a lot of surprises, but there was only one surprise at the end of the show last night, which blew everyone's minds.
On the main event of Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025, John Cena defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight. The match went on for nearly 40 minutes, and after a hard fought battle, Cody Rhodes was finally able to master Cena and pinned him to win his second World title.

After Cody Rhodes left the arena, John Cena still stood inside the ring, and it looked like he was about to say something about his title run. And suddenly, the music of Brock Lesnar was heard, and the fans in the arena went completely wild. Lesnar then entered the building, something that nobody expected to see.

The Beast Incarnate slowly moved towards the ring, and there was a clear indication of fear in John Cena's face. Lesnar entered the ring and grounded Cena with F5. Lesnar continued his celebrations as the show went off the air. This will go down as one of the biggest surprises in the history of SummerSlam.

But why John Cena? Nothing has been disclosed yet. At least one thing we can all be confident about is that, Cena will have the final feud of his professional wrestling career against John Cena, who had been one of the biggest rivals of his career. But this is the first time in 11 years they will be going head to head.
Backstage rumours suggest that John Cena wanted to work with Brock Lesnar for the one last time before getting retired, and that was the reason Triple H brought back The Alpha Male of Our Species. But one thing we can all be assured of is that John Cena is pretty much out of the World title picture, and some new contender will rise against Cody Rhodes for the Championship.
