Last Saturday, at the WWE premium live event Wrestlepalooza, The Undertaker joined the show and sat beside Stephanie McMahon in the crowd to make a huge announcement. He revealed Stephanie is going to be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026, and Stephanie looked really emotional after the announcement.

This is the first time WWE is announcing their first pics for the Hall of Fame class of any specific year so early. Generally, they announce by the end of the previous year or in January. It can also be easily understood that Stephanie McMahon is going to be the headliner for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026.

Stephanie McMahon did not know anything about getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026

The present WWE chief content officer and the husband of Stephanie, Triple H, recently talked about the Hall of Fame induction of his wife and revealed that she had absolutely no idea of getting this WWE Hall of Fame induction. During the post show of Wrestlepalooza, Triple H said the following about the announcement;

Stephanie McMahon was present at the WWE premium live event Wrestlepalooza

“Yeah, has anybody got a good lawyer? I’m in trouble. Steph is not happy with me. She had no idea, and I think she thought ‘Taker was coming out there — it’s her birthday in four days — I think she thought Taker was coming out there to embarrass her and sing happy birthday to her, and she had no clue right up until he said, ‘Induct.’”

“But, the truth is, she is one of the most iconic performers in an era, the Attitude Era and moving forward from there, she was a powerful character for a lot of young women around the world; of a young, powerful executive and an incredible performer.

The Undertaker made this ground breaking announcement

"So, to me, not just because she’s my wife, if I put all that aside, she’s just such an incredible performer and part of our business. That’s just the in-ring and stuff and then what she’s done behind the scenes, for all of it, just so well deserved. I can’t say it enough.”

Stephanie McMahon did not have a very long professional wrestling career in the ring, but her contribution was mostly noted outside of the ring, behind the curtain. She had been one of the biggest Architects of the women's revolution in WWE, and if the women's wrestling in the promotion is going through the best time period of all time, most of the credit goes to her.
