The Recent storyline of Seth Rollins ever since he pinned Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. He is being established as the top heel of WWE, and after getting Paul Heyman beside him, he is doing a fantastic job. He also went on to win the Money in the Bank ladder match and also cashed it in successfully at SummerSlam.
The storyline just began at WrestleMania 41, and there were already a lot of turns and twists. Arguably, the best twist of this storyline so far had been the injury ruse of Seth Rollins. It was reported that he picked up a knee injury during his match against LA Knight at Saturday Night's Main Event, and he was sidelined from action. It was also reported that he would be out of action for a long time.

WWE Hall of Famer praises Seth Rollins' ruse of the century angle
But he returned at Summerslam to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, proving that his injury was a complete ruse. The storyline has received massive praise from the world of professional wrestling, including WWE Hall of Famer and multitimes world champion Kevin Nash. Speaking on his “Kliq This” podcast, he explained the following;
Seth Rollins had a fake injury angle recently
“Even to have the belt for four or five minutes before Rollins came down — I thought they did a really good job with Rollins.
"I mean, I thought he was hurt, and I’m not too sure he’s not hurt. That medial collateral ligament could still have been stretched, and he could have had that thing f*king — because all he did was, and I’m thinking myself like when he came down and Heyman gave him the f*king briefcase, I’m thinking like, ‘You gave him way too much time to kind of recover. Punk is going to be able to give you a fight.’

Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract successfully on CM Punk at Summerslam
“And he basically just went in and beat the s*it out of him with that briefcase, which was perfect. You know? Heel as f*k. And then curb-stomped him, 1-2-3,. And I just — to me, it’s one of those things where Punk wins, and then it’s the 1-2-3, and there wasn’t even a quiver that he was going to kick. None of this, you know, kick out on three and a half st like you’re f*king Rookie McRookie. It was a pro job. It was done great.”
Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract successfully on CM Punk after he defeated Gunther to win his first WWE World Championship after 12 long years. Punk's reign lasted only 5 minutes, unfortunately. All we can expect Rollins to carry the World Heavyweight Championship to at least WrestleMania 42, where he is heavily rumoured to defend the title against Roman Reigns.
