Seth Rollins had been the biggest project of WWE this year, and everybody understood that it was the year of the Visionary in WWE. Things started kicking off for him at WrestleMania 41, where he featured in a triple threat match with Roman Reigns and CM Punk. He picked up a huge victory in this match after he pinned Roman Reigns.
Soon after WrestleMania 41, he formed a faction with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, who continuously helped him to earn more success. He won the Money in the Bank ladder match, which earned him an opportunity to challenge for any world championship at any time. He cashed in the contract at SummerSlam after CM Punk just defeated Gunther to become World Heavyweight Champion.
Seth Rollins reminded everyone that he never dropped the World Championship
It was Punk's first world championship win since retarding to WWE, but he could not enjoy it for more than 5 minutes as Seth Rollins took the title away from him by cashing in his contract. Rollins had been doing a tremendous job as the champion, but it was quite unfortunate that he had to be stripped of the Championship.
Seth Rollins had to drop the World title recently since he suffered a major shoulder injury
At the Crown Jewel event, he defeated Cody Rhodes to win the Crown Jewel Championship. But unfortunately, he suffered a major shoulder injury during this match, and he had to be stripped out of the Championship. Seth Rollins recently talked about this injury, and he reminded everyone that he never lost the title. Speaking with ClutchPoints, he stated the following;

“I was stripped of that championship, and anybody who [is] in possession of that title, be it CM Punk, be it Bron Breakker, anybody who stands in my way, they will be dealt with." He continued, “The primary [target] in my return will actually not be a person at all… it’ll be a thing. And that would be the World Heavyweight Championship because I never lost the title, so I am rightfully the World Heavyweight Champion.”
It had been reported that Rollins would be out of action for quite a long time, and he will also miss out on WrestleMania 42, where he was heavily rumored to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns. But unfortunately, this dream match is not happening anymore. WWE gave it a storyline injury angle by showing that his own teammates attacked him, which caused the injury.
