Despite being one of the most famous stars among the WWE universe, Sami Zayn is mostly seen working in non title feuds after dropping the WWE Intercontinental Championship. It also looks like WWE officials are not a fan of giving him a World Championship break.
Presently, he is having a feud with Karrion Kross, and this rivalry has somehow boosted the career of Kross. Ever since returning to WWE in 2022, he has never gotten a big break in the promotion. He was mostly treated as a lower mid card who hardly got regular bookings.

But before WrestleMania 41, the fans started to have his back, and the present feud with Sami Zayn helped him even more. Zayn recently spoke with the Toronto Sun, where he explained why his present feud with Karrion Kross is really important. The following is what he had to say about it;

They already have two matches in the series, and both matches have been won by both of them, one each. They are going to have their final showdown at the upcoming WWE PLE that is SummerSlam, which will take place this weekend. This is definitely going to be the end of their ongoing feud.
