Roman Reigns recently entered the War Games match at the Survivor Series event, and he had been quite impressive in this match, just like always. Presently, he is heavily rumoured to win the men's Royal Rumble match of 2026. He is indeed the biggest name of WWE right now, and it is a dream for most of the young wrestlers to have a rivalry with the Tribal Chief.
But what are the scrapped feuds that Roman Reigns could never have but were actually planned? One such feud had been with the former two times NXT champion and former WWE star Karrion Kross, who had been released from WWE recently. He had been one of the most famous stars of WWE at the time of his release, and fans never understood the point of releasing him despite being famous.
Roman Reigns was scheduled to have a rivalry with Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross' second WWE run lasted for 3 years as he returned to the promotion in 2022 and remained active until August 2025. A large number of fans are not happy with his release, but WWE did not pay much attention to what the fans wanted. Recently, he was interviewed by “Scaredycast,” where he revealed he was scheduled to have a rivalry with Roman Reigns, which never happened;

“I would have liked to have paid off the match with Roman Reigns. I had heard a few different variations of what was supposed to happen with that. One of the variations was like a potential triple threat between me, Drew, and Roman when we first came back.

“But somebody else came back to the company and got involved with creative shortly after us, and completely killed that. And then drove Drew off a cliff, and now Drew’s crazy. Now Drew’s crazy. We had the biggest babyface in professional wrestling in I don’t know how long, and they they made him nuts. He has valid reasons to be angry.”
When Karrion Kross made her return to action, he directly confronted Roman Reigns after attacking Drew McIntyre. The fans expected a rivalry between these two wrestlers, but it never happened, since WWE only used Kross as a lower mid card. Due to his volatile state, he could never have a mega rivalry with Reigns. Since he is not active in WWE right now, chances of highly unlikely that he would ever get such a rivalry in the future.
