Roman Reigns is the established face of WWE right now, and Vince McMahon has always wanted to build him as the successor of John Cena ever since he joined the main roster. But during his early days, the fans were not ready to accept him as the face of the promotion. He used to receive a terrible reaction from the fans, no matter what he did.

Ultimately, he was able to become a fan favorite, and no doubt he is one of the most famous names in the world of professional wrestling today. The majority of the fans believe that his heel turn and Tribal Chief character played a major role in restoring faith in the hearts of the fans.

Roman Reigns thanks Paul Heyman for his contributions in his career

Roman Reigns recently discussed getting over with the fans and also expressed his gratitude towards Paul Heyman for helping him becoming extremely popular among the wrestling fans. Reigns recently appeared on "The Pat McAfee Show" where he explained the contributions of Paul Heyman in his career. Here is what he had to say;

Roman Reigns is a six times WWE World Champion

"He taught me so much. I sat under his learning tree. I caught shade for a long time. So anything that he's teaching all these other guys, and he's long-winded, so he'll keep on telling his stories. He'll come back to them. I have like a sponge absorbed so much from the former Wise Man that I think he's gone dumb now. I don't think he's the same guy. It's become one of those situations where I've become the master."

Paul Heyman betrayed Reigns at WrestleMania 41 and sided with Seth Rollins

"I'd sit there and I'd take counsel. I'd sit there and hear his stories. And sometimes, yeah, he'd forget he told me a story and he'd tell me again, but I'd listen to it again just to see if the moral of the story was the same or if there's another little piece of information. He's a very wise soul." said the six times WWE World Champion who is presently active on RAW.

After dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL, Roman Reigns has not feuded for any World Championship as of now. But he is heavily rumored to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming WrestleMania 42 event. He has been working as a part time wrestler since WrestleMania 38, but he is still one of the biggest attractions of the promotion.
