Roman Reigns has been working as a part time wrestler since 2022, after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. It has been over 3 and a half years since he has been maintaining his part time status, and it is pretty much clear that he will never return to WWE or on a full time basis. But even as a part timer, he is doing a tremendous job.
Presently, he is having a rivalry with the Vision, and he will even have a big match with Bronson Reed at the upcoming WWE premium live event, Crown Jewel. He has had a long rivalry with Bronson Reed and also with Bron Breakker ever since he lost to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41, which was actually a triple threat match also including CM Punk.
Roman Reigns does not feel very good anymore while working in the ring
But slowly, Roman Reigns is heading towards the unwanted retirement from in ring action. Reigns himself confirmed recently that he is not feeling very good either, and he may have to make a decision soon. He appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” recently, where he explained the following;

“I feel like crap. My body does not feel good. I was down there not too long ago. The flight back and forth does not feel nice. I’ve been jetlagged for four weeks in a row now. Why not just go down there and try to kill myself. It is what it is. We’re gonna go head against the wall, Goldberg-style. Reckless abandoned.
He is also rumoured to win the men's Royal Rumble match of 2026
"You can’t do much worse than I feel now, so let’s just go mess it up physically. I’m a live performer. I can do it at any given moment. I’m always at 100. We live at a 12, so the 10 will always be easy. You go through the curtain, you can be selling a broken leg back there, but as soon as the music hits and you go through the curtain, it’s a shot in the arm.”
Roman Reigns has a history of medical issues, but still, he is doing an amazing job. Strong rumours have it that he will win the men's Royal Rumble match of 202,6 and he will eventually go on to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at the WrestleMania 42 event, which may also be the main event of the show.
