The drama regarding R Truth had been one of the biggest talking points of this year so far, and it was quite exciting too. Truth had been one of the biggest fan favourites, but WWE shocked the entire world when they released him last week. Instantly, the fans broke into chants of "We Want Truth" during the shows.
Last Saturday, it was the Money in the Bank 2025 event where John Cena teamed up with Logan Paul to take on the team of Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. At the end of the match, a hooded figure entered the ring and attacked John Cena. This hooded figure turned out to be R Truth, and the fans left totally shocked.

WWE Hall of Famer reveals Vince McMahon’s love for R Truth
This is the first time in WWE history that a released wrestler was brought back in only 7 days' time. Truth had been active in WWE for a long time, and it has always been said that Vince McMahon loved to work with him. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently spoke about this matter while speaking on his "83 Weeks" Podcast. He said;
R Truth was released from WWE last week, which shocked everyone
“Vince loved Ron. Vince loved R-Truth. I mean, that’s something that is a very well-known thing. Vince loved working with R-Truth. He loved his comedy, he loved the bits he would do. And he understood he could go out there and he could eat a [loss].

“But if he did the comedy bit, and people remember that, it was still a win in his book. Because he was such an entertaining character, and Vince loves entertaining characters, especially characters that are over the top. And with his comedy he could do that.”

Even after McMahon’s departure, Truth remained an influential figure in the WWE locker room. She had been a huge fan favorite as well. His departure was a big shock, and the WWE Universe could not take it at all. This return will always be remembered as one of the biggest shockers in WWE history.
