Paul Heyman is considered one of the biggest masterminds in the world of professional wrestling, who is presently active in WWE in both off screen and on screen roles. He is presently working as the manager of the faction named The Vision, and he also has a heavy influence in the creative department of the promotion.
Paul Heyman became a familiar face in professional wrestling fans when he became a known face as the boss of ECW, where he was known as Paul E. Dangerously. After ECW was purchased by Vince McMahon, he arrived in WWE and started working as a player manager. He worked as the manager of multiple big names of WWE, like Brock Lesnar and CM Punk.

WWE star Carmelo Hayes recently shared his experience meeting Paul Heyman, and he also revealed what he learned from him. Speaking with “Huge Pop Radio,” he revealed the following;

“Yeah, it’s definitely a learning experience and a growing pain (transitioning to WWE main roster) and I’m super excited and happy about my future and my position and I’ll put it like this, Paul Heyman kind of smartened me up a couple of weeks ago and he said to me, he goes, ‘Look –’ he’s like, ‘You’re batting a thousand.”

Carmelo Hayes is presently having a rivalry with The Miz
“The only problem is you’re batting eighth.’ He says, ‘If you look at the landscape –’ if you look at the landscape and — Shawn (Michaels), everybody’s told me the same thing. It’s stacked! There’s so many top guys right now, there’s so many big stories and elements and things that are happening right now. Just for me to be even to be able to mix it up with those guys in between is a huge honor and a pleasure and something that I look forward to as well.”
Carmelo Hayes had an excellent record while working in the NXT, as he won all the possible singles championships in the developmental territory of WWE. He was promoted to the main roster last year, and he had been treated as a mid card ever since. It does not look like he will ever be promoted as a main event star in WWE anymore, but he can still have a decent mid card run.
