Omos, who was often considered the Nigerian Giant of WWE, was a big attraction among the fans because of his huge height. He had been one of the tallest wrestlers to ever work in the WWE ring as he was 7'3", and tall wrestlers are always a big attraction in the wrestling world. Although his career did not last long, he is still fresh in the memory of the wrestling fans.
Omos was introduced among the WWE fans during the RAW Underground back in 2020, and he started working regularly in the ring from late 2020 when he teamed up with AJ Styles, and they even won the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37. This remained his only title win in WWE, and he had been quite impressive from the very first day of entering the ring.

Why had the training days been difficult for Omos
He started working as a singles wrestler in the same year after they dropped the Tag Team titles, and his single career kick-started after he received a big win over AJ Styles. He had multiple single matches with some of the top stars like Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and even against Brock Lesnar. But he could not manage victory over any of these wrestlers.
Omos is a former WWE Tag Team Champion
Omos was ultimately released from WWE in 2024. Despite not being signed with WWE, he still kept getting opportunities to work in the promotion since he worked on the partner promotions of WWE. The Nigerian Giant recently remembered his training days and explained how difficult it had been. Speaking with “MuscleManMalcolm,” he explained the following;
“Me coming into WWE wasn’t really a challenge. I’m actually grateful that I played basketball because I feel like basketball kind of prepared me for wrestling and what I’m doing in the wrestling ring.”

He still appears in WWE as part of partner promotions
“Going from running and jumping and to, you know, learn how to take bumps and know how to hit the ropes and, you know, learning how to do forward rolls and back rolls, learning how to take a bump properly so you know you don’t break your hands, that was something that I wasn’t really privy to.
"So it took a while to get used to it, but you know once I got used to it [it was good]. I knew from my very first tryout that this is what I was meant to do. I have never felt passionately about something that fast until once I got into the ring.” said the 33 year old professional wrestler.
