Omos was released from WWE in 2024 after his contract expired, and after he left WWE, he relocated to the AAA, which is a Mexico based professional wrestling promotion. He was often considered the Nigerian Giant in WWE, and he was actually promoted as a giant in the promotion.
He made his WWE debut back in 2020 during the RAW Underground. He made his in ring debut in the promotion in 2021 as he started to team up with AJ Styles. The duo even won the WWE RAW Tag Team championships at WrestleMania 37. But later, the Tag Team split, and the Nigerian Giant started working as a singles wrestler.

Omos talks about returning to WWE
He got an instant big boost by defeating AJ Styles in a one on one match. He also had huge matches with some of the top stars like Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. But surprisingly, all the big matches he had after he started working solo and defeating AJ Styles, he lost. He lost his first match against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38, and after that, he kept on losing all of his big matches.

Wrestlers like Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins all defeated Omos. Ultimately, in 2024, he was released from WWE, and he started working in AAA. Recently, he made his return to WWE in the NXT as a part of AAA. Speaking with TMZ Sports recently, he explained the following on his return to WWE and how he felt about it;

He returned to WWE as a part of AAA
“From the first locker room we had (together) I could tell the chemistry was there and we have something amazing. That’s the thing about being in this business is when you get with another individual you want to feel that chemistry that you guys can make magic, and I felt that in that moment.
"Like I said, again, man, I just had to show them, you know, who the big boss is and who the veteran is, you know, I’ve been in this game eight years, so it’s still a lot of work to do. He’s done a great job in NXT, he’s extremely charismatic. He’s great on the mic, great body of work, great physicality and guys like Oba are humbling to face. It gives me a lot of excitement when I meet guys who have such physical powers like he does.” said Omos, regarding his return to WWE.
